About Midwest Heart Foundation
MHF is a non-profit research and education foundation dedicated to improving the prevention and management of cardiovascular and related diseases through research, education, and community leadership. Our research has been instrumental in providing patients access to some of the most progressive treatments and prevention strategies in cardiology. Our education programs help area physicians, applied healthcare professionals, and the community-at-large stay informed about the latest prevention strategies, diagnostic techniques, and treatment options for cardiovascular and related diseases.

Our community programming is designed to increase the awareness and knowledge of the community on cardiovascular topics while providing opportunities to individuals and families in their pursuit of cardiovascular health and wellness.

MHF was established in 1988 by the physicians of Midwest Heart Specialists (MHS) to provide research in a community setting and to contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge. MHF has conducted over 260 clinical trials since it’s inception and educates more than 3200 physicians and allied health care providers and 2500 community members each year.
